Monday – Saturday 10:00am – 5:00pm, Closed Sunday
Serving the Tidewater area over 20 years
We’ve recovered from the activities of Quilt Show and Shop Hop Week. Wasn’t the quilt show fabulous this year? It was
great so many of you stopped by our 2 booths to say hello and enter the drawings for the $100.00 gift cards. The winners are
Zelda Hartman and Judy Trump.
That goes for Shop Hop too. We saw so many of our old friends and many new faces came to
the store that week also. Wasn’t the quilt great this year? It was bed size and each store’s different fabrics for their
sample showed the versatility of the pattern. Mark your calendar now for the summer hop the week of July 20 – 26, 2009. Plans are already under way by the Tidewater Shop Hop Owners Association.
The shop hop fun continues through March! We
had many donated prizes and we have assembled a quilter’s tote bag of goodies, 1 for each of the 8 locations. Stop by any of
the stores during March to enter a drawing for this totebag. Drawing will be April 1, 2009. You can enter once per day
at each location.
Saturday, March 21 is National Quilting Day. We will have a special celebration that day. From
10 am to 2 pm representatives of the local quilt guilds will be in the store so you can learn about them and their activities. Also, current quilt guild members who show their membership card will get a special gift. Be sure to come and bring a fellow
guild member with you.
We support the guild members by extending a 10% discount off the price of regular priced fabric when you
present your guild card at time of purchase.
March 21st is also our next 22 Sweet Day. On the 22nd of each month all year
we are celebrating the store’s 22 years in business. (When the 22nd is on a Sunday, we celebrate on the Saturday before). The
first 22 people to arrive at the store receive a free gift. There will be many specials all day long, and lots of fun.
Many
new fabrics have arrived this week, be sure to come by and see what’s new. We are making room for this new fabric by putting
some wonderful fabrics in the sale section.
We are also having a sale on discontinued thread lines 50% off on the following YLI
threads: Jeans Stitch, Colours, Fine Metallic, Fusions, Machine Quilting, Lingere & Bobbin Thread, Glitter, Fusible, Soft
Touch and Perfect Quilter variegated thread.
